Apple has updated its Support section with a new release of Safari, the standard web browser on Macintosh computers. Version 4.0.3 improves the stability, compatibility and security of the web browser and is recommended for all users.
On the Support section of its web site, Apple describes the Safari 4.0.3 update as follows:

Supported languages include German, English, and French.
Safari 4 brings remarkable new features, like Top Sites and Cover Flow. Thanks to the former, users can enjoy a stunning, at-a-glance preview of their favorite websites, while Safari tracks the sites they browse and ranks their favorites. Of course, Safari isn't the only browser that does this. Opera Software's popular web browser has an almost identical feature called Speed Dial.
Cover Flow, on the other hand, offers a more visual way of reviewing your site history and bookmarked sites. The feature, typical to Apple software, displays full-page previews of the websites that look exactly as they did when you last visited them.
